    1981 MCI MC9 Custom Coach Bus, 8V71 Turbo Diesel, HT754 Allison 5 Speed Auto, 12.5 KW Kohler generator, 190k Miles, tow package with rear hitch and plug for towing a car or trailer, two awnings (one on each side), 12-volt battery charger, 24-volt battery charger, inverter, electric water heater, 12-volt water pump, 24-volt water pump, plastic fresh water tank, plastic black water tank. There are three battery systems: Coach (24-volt) House (24-volt) and Generator (12-volt). Standard 8D batteries are used. The coach is equipped with regular coach heat and coach air conditioning for use while driving. While parked, there are four electric heaters with individual thermostats spaced throughout the coach with a fifth electric heater in the bathroom. There are also electric heaters in the underfloor water compartment. There are two central ďhouseĒ air conditioners for use while parked. One is located behind the dinette and opposite the galley. The second unit is located in the bedroom. Sleeps 5 including the bedroom, a couch with removable cushions, the adjustable dinette, and a pull down bunk from the ceiling.

    Has a 50-amp land line and can be fully hooked into water, sewer and electric at a campground.
      Interior
    The buddy/co-pilot seat is double wide and has an adjacent map light. A switch-operated(electric over air) trap door will cover the stepwell. Typical of Custom Coach, there is afold-up tray centrally located in front that includes cup holders.The driverís seat is electrically adjustable and was recently rebuilt by CMI. Both thefront and side dash controls and gauges are standard MCI but additional conversion controlshave been added. There is a spotlight, a Jake brake, and a backup camera. The passengerdoor is opened by a standard handle on the front dash.Above the driverís windshield is the typical elaborate Custom Coach control panel.Included is a rotary switch for shore or generator power along with a gauge showing inputvoltage. Circuit breakers are provided on two legs for 110-volt circuits including heating, airconditioning, refrigerator, etc. Toggle switches are provided for both DC and AC circuitsincluding 12- and 24-volt lighting, individual air conditioning units, the block heater, andeach battery charger. There are several gauges including battery condition gauges for allthree battery systems. Included is a new driverís radio and a remote start for the generator.Inverter power can be fed to the front or rear entertainment outlets while the coach is moving.
      Exterior
    External paint is DuPont Imron. A spare tire is located behind the front bumper. The coach battery compartment (2-8D batteries) also includes disconnect switches for the other battery systems. The coach and house batteries (both 24-volt) can be connected to take advantage of charging while going down the road or when the 24-volt battery charger is on. The front luggage compartment has an air conditioning compressor, the house battery system and a garbage box below a chute from the kitchen, but is primarily open. The center luggage compartment contains the Kohler generator and its cooling system. On the curb side are the external controls and the generator will slide out for service. There is also one 8D battery for starting the generator. On the street side are the two battery chargers and inverter. The rear luggage compartment is primarily the water compartment. It contains both water tanks, the water heater, the central vacuum system, and two water pumps (one 12-volt and one 24-volt). Special equipment in the engine compartment includes a block heater and an oil reservoir with a capacity of more than one gallon. The blower box has an automotive generator for charging the generator battery.
