1965 Bristol Lodekka Motorcoach Bus

1965 Bristol Lodekka FLF double decker bus, former Western National, BOD 40C...... Bus has been coverted to a RV, so no class 1 or 2 licence needed...... Height 13'4", width 8', length 30', weight about 20,000 pounds....... Not over the Federal legal height limit, no permits needed to drive anywhere...... The Bristol engine has been replaced by a Cummins "N" series 270 bhp diesel engine, with 13 pound turbo and a Jacobs brake...... This is coupled to an Eaton 9 speed transmission, with overdrive giving a top speed of 71 MPH....... Upper deck has seating for 14, two single beds, with storage under one bed and a water tank under the other, and two hanging lockers...... Lower deck has a small galley and counter with a faucet and water pump...... Enclosed head and wand shower...... Black and gray holding tanks are under the rear floor. There is seating over the wheel wells and hooks for 12 bikes on the ceiling...... A 100 gallon fuel tank is opposite the galley at rear of bus........ Engine has about 45,000 miles on it, tires are new...... Brake system has been overhauled and brass sleeves installed in master and wheel cylinders......an image has been altered to safeguard identity
